The King James Bible (and others translated from the Textus Receptus) is the infallible Word of God

Amidst controversy and risking some unpopularity, I will boldly state that the King James Bible is the Word of God. Being hated or unpopular has never been a setback for me, all I want to do is proclaim the truth. So here's some more of it! The King James Bible (from the Textus Receptus) is the inspired Word of God. Any new translation from other manuscripts are fraudulent (most coming from the Alexandria manuscripts from EGYPT, or the Latin Vulgate from the Vatican, self explanatory). I'm going to provide plenty of resources for you to check this out, before you just dismiss me. I believe it is your obligation as a Christian to test this for yourself. Don't just believe me if this is a new topic for you, and don't dismiss me out of ignorance. Satan has been attacking God's Word since the Garden, and he has kicked it into high gear. The Jesuits work hard at confusing Christians and taking away from God's Word. So with all that said, if you haven't closed this window yet, I'll provide you with some links to research. I strongly encourage you to do so.

"The Answer Book," Dr. Samuel C. Gipp
An excellent defense of the King James Bible being the Word of God, answering and debunking many questions and "problems" with the KJV. It even shows how the KJV's one instance of Easter in the New Testament is absolutely correct! A must read!

An excellent site written by Ty Bollinger in an honest, plain way. Another must read!

The Attack, by Jack Chick
An excellent comic book version depicting the story of the KJV and the corrupt manuscripts! A fun way to learn about this!

The KJV vs. Modern Bibles
Jeff Johnson allowed this work to be published: "I spent 3 years researching and writing a manuscript which defends the King James. I studied 44 sources, & went thru 3,100 pages of research. (Not to mention reading the texts of these new versions)."

Jesus Is Lord
Amazing, amazing website full of Christian inspiration and information that can keep you busy for weeks on end. About a third of the way down, the site gets into a huuuuuuuge defense of the KJV that shouldn't go unnoticed!

This is enough information on the King James vs. The Rest debate to keep you busy for a long time. I can't stress this enough - you owe it to yourself and the Lord Jesus Christ to look into this matter. Wouldn't you want to know the history behind what you think is God's Word? As a believer in Christ, don't you want to savor His every word in full confidence? Don't you want the full power that comes with God's infallible Word? Or do you want a watered down impostor version that Satan loves for us to read?!

I agree with you ALL the way! The KJV is the most accurate English version of the Bible. Everything else is watered-down, omitted and changed. The most dangerous things are deceptions that resemble the truth, but have slight and subtle lies. Like the serpent manipulated the words to Eve, that you also mentioned.

And here is a quiz for those who use the NIV, see if they can answer it from their Bible.

I have been on both sides of the fence concerning this topic/subject. I ignorantly believed at one time that the KJV was the "original manuscript" and that God talked in that old style english.
I think if one would research the history of biblical translations, one would discover there were several english versions of the bible before the KJV. It, like all others are "translations" and it isn't perfectly translated.
I love my KJV bibles but I also enjoy other modern translations. On either side of the debate, those for it will provide information supporting their view. And those opposed will offer information supporting thier view, leaving the lay person confused.
When it's all said and done, at the end of the day, whatever translation you read from, stay with the one that brings you closer to Christ. The KJV was a modern translation in its day, just as there are modern translations for our day. And yes, some are watered-down, omit txt they felt weren't in the original, etc. There exists no perfect bible today because ALL of them are translations. Doesn't mean we can't rely on them but God's original revelation to the men who penned the bible don't exist in their entirety.
